The WVFC are delighted to present this 'double header' featuring Kirsty Merryn and Jack Harris, two of the UK's finest young folk singers. New Forest born singer songwriter Kirsty Merryn tells stories of boxing champions, forgotten heroines and frozen winters. She has become a regular on London’s folk scene, delighting the crowds with her delicately introspective piano based songs and sophisticated musical style, which are balanced beautifully by an intimate and finely observational lyrical content. Jack is a Welsh-born folk singer-songwriter, musician, and poet. He is multi-award winning, most notably winning the 2005 New Folk Songwriting Competition at Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas, the first non-American to do so. Whilst they both have very successful solo careers they do occasionally sing together and we hope to entice them to duet for us as well as perform their own uniqe sets in the lovely setting of Hoxne Village Hall. An enthralling and enchanting evening of music awaits.

Tickets £10 on the door or £8.00 in advance online.
