Acoustic roots and beyond
The Collective brings together performers and audiences in a relaxed, listening environment. Whether you are into Folk, Roots, Americana, Blues, Jazz, World etc, you'll be welcome at the collective.
Our Bi-Monthly Music Sessions provide the opportunity for individuals or small combos to perform to a listening audience. Fifteen minute slots can be booked via this website and our experience suggests that this will cover a three song set. Each session will include a 30 minute set from a specially invited guest. All musicians perform without a fee; proceeds from ticket sales go to support The Fisher Theatre, with a small donation going to defray WVFC costs..
Our WVFC Presents evenings feature a very talented headline act (which may be from the national acoustic roots music scene) supported by one of our wonderful local bands.
Where's the Waveney Valley?
Centered around the river Waveney which runs from Redgrave in Suffolk to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, The Waveney Valley embraces many towns along the Norfolk/Suffolk border. These include Diss, Eye, Harleston, Halesworth, Bungay, Beccles and more.
We have set up camp in the Diss area but we welcome musicians from throughout the region – and beyond.
